CotW之后K跟着F去了加拿大，他们跟Maggie呆在一起。K单箭头F但是F一直没有回应，K郁结之下就出门去酒吧喝了点，回来的路上被人敲头绑架了。Maggie发现K到第二天早上还没回来就急了，出去找K。K被绑架了五天，被torture和rape之后扔到路边，昏迷不醒。Maggie把他救回来之后通知了F。
F回去见K，跟K说我可以跟你在一起，我愿意为你做一切事情来让你好起来，包括上床。K心想你tm早干嘛去了？遂拒绝。
经过此事，K觉得F根本不需要他，他无法再忍受呆在F身边，于是趁F外出任务时准备走，Maggie挽留未果。
“Besides, I’d have to stand in line, even if I had a chance; Vecchio knew him before I did. I was just filling in for Vecchio.” I grinned, amused by the irony. “Might as well have gone all the way with the pretense, you know? Vecchio loved Fraser, I was Vecchio.”
为了不被F在机场截住，K一段一段地搭便车回芝加哥，心知自己在作死，但是就沉浸在这种力脱斯特之中。
这是系列第二篇Come Undone的剧情，时间上来说是最开始。
接着是第一篇，Never Pick Up a Hitchhiker，讲的是V在芝加哥城郊碰到搭便车的K并且顺手把他捎回来的故事。V问K怎么从加拿大回来了，K说不想再跟F一起送死。K声明他跟F什么都没干过，V戳穿说你想干的，K“你不想吗！”
As if reading my mind, Kowalski added, “It’s not complicated, Vecchio. You want him, I want him, and we both need to get off. Feels better if you’re not alone. So what do you say we just get it over with?”
然后两人就互遛了一发金鱼。本篇完结。
然后是第三篇Manic Monday，2w5词，是个case fic。
这篇先讲V是怎么慢慢从喜欢小狗到喜欢上金鱼的，然后某一天F到芝加哥来了。V的第一个念头是从他手里保护K。F回来是要逮捕K，因为绑架他的那人（是位女性变态（我也想）在K离开加拿大的同时失踪了，她房子里留下的都是K的指纹，以及照片之类。Maggie给K打电话，给了他一个地址，V先一步到了那里发现了尸体，手法与女变态类似。V在房子里发现了女变态拍的录像带，其中有K的。说此女变态手里有某位权力人士的类似影带，以此作为把柄使加拿大警方无法逮捕她（srsly？）。现在女变态跑到美国来了，FKV就准备在F不得不带K回去之前把她抓住。
然后他们就把女变态抓住了。VK达成了HE结局。
这篇后半段Frannie和RayK真是棒极。Frannie发现V和K有一腿，就跟V铲子谈话（。
She shook her head slowly, her face set in an expression of contempt. “No, but you’re the last person he needs.” She crossed her arms and waited expectantly.
“Oh, and so you’re the expert now?”
“I may not know what happened when he was in Canada, but I know how he used to be, and he’s not like that anymore. He was a freak before,” and her voice held affection as she insulted him, “but now he’s a disgusting freak who smokes. He hated cigarettes.”
“And your point is?”
“I’ve known him longer than you.”
（当然Frannie随后又去铲子了K此处按下不提（。）
I knew part of her affection for me was based off the fact that we’d started out as two people forced to pretend that we were related to each other and somewhere along the way, we stopped pretending and started believing.
RayK和Frannie的伪兄妹关系好萌噢。
去看Raine_Wynd是因为她在环太圈还蛮活跃的，但是她的文……感觉真的都没哪篇特别好看（。不过这系列的第三篇还不错，正儿八经的case fic。环太有篇Raleigh变成大金毛的帽子文（没有帽子）可以一看，还有Better Days系列（但都不是那种惊为巨手的好看（。
